I would highly recommend John Coopers' presentation of the "Laughing Teacher".  John brings a humor to the classroom that is neglected.  In this age of accountability, there is an area that is just as important as instructional delivery and that is teacher morale.  This presentation gives educator's the tools to excite the students about learning and energize teachers at the same time.

Friendship Elementary, Buford, GA

Our school decided to use John for a motivational speaker to end our 2 day retreat at Bon Clarken Retreat Center in Hendersonville, NC.  With his lively mixture of magic, his visual aids, and his enthusiasm he was fantastic.  Our staff was very impressed with his ideas and are now using them in their classes.  We enjoyed his hands-on activities and warm humor.  He will certainly be in our plans for future staff development.

Sunshine Elementary, Bostic, NC

Mr. Cooper enthralled teachers at 3:30 in the afternoon, and had them both laughing and thinking about their students in a new way for the following day.  He gave them easy tips on motivation and reminded us of the importance of simply having fun with what we do daily.  Many teachers can still be seen with clown noses on or doing an easy magic trick to entice learners.  Just a few days ago I became the recipient of a beautiful new hat with a sign attached: "Dare to be different today!"  I'm trying.  I strongly recommend John Cooper as a speaker for your school.

Thank you for coming and sharing the "Laughing Teacher" with our faculty and staff.  The teachers have stopped me in the hall several times today to tell me your "Laughing Teacher" program was the best staff development program they ever had!

Due to your program our faculty is energized for the remainder of the year.  I look forward to having you back in the future.

The tips you gave us in your "Laughing Teacher" seminar have already been put to use in several ways.  Personally, I was reminded to take time to laugh with my own children and family.   I wore the red nose to pick up my child at a friend's house on my way home from work.  My daughter, her friend, and the friend's mother all ended up getting a good laugh from it and then they all had to try it!  The fun continued all evening and into the next day when I wore it to cheer up a colleague or two!  Amazing how a little piece of sponge material can brighten someone's day!  Several teachers have also enjoyed watching a student attempt to tattle to the tune of Mary Had A Little Lamb!  The stress relieving strategies and the behavior management ideas that you gave us were so easy and practical; our staff has been able to begin using them immediately.  I would highly recommend you to other schools.

Our faculty is still talking about the ideas from the "Laughing Teacher" in-service.  As I walk down the hall, I see many of your ideas already being put to use with very positive results.  I think we are going to have a lot more fun this year and accomplish more academically in the process.  I, too, am coming up with new ideas to incorporate more humor and fun in school-wide activities and especially at  faculty meetings!

The staff loved the "Laughing Teacher" presentation!  I feel the staff benefited by getting a clearer understanding of the role of humor in the classroom.  It also helped us relax for opening day.

I would highly recommend this presentation to other schools for its concrete ways to incorporate humor in classrooms.

Orchard Park Elem., Westminister, SC

The teachers were thoroughly impressed.  They laughed and gained many new strategies for presenting information to children using humor and fun.  One fourth grade teacher commented, "Finally, something I can use!"

Wanda White - Special Instructional Assistance Teacher
Barnwell Elem., Alpharetta, GA

We laughed, learned and thoroughly enjoyed our morning together with you. Some of the comments made were:

"This is just what our staff needed."
"The 2 hrs. flew! I could have listened to him longer."
"He had great ideas. I can start using them on Monday morning!"

Our staff realized the benefit of humor in the classroom from our brain research workshop this summer. You helped us by giving us simple ideas that could easily be implemented into our day, without disrupting the learning process. Many of your ideas get children focused and back on track.

I highly recommend your program. Laughter brings a staff together in a way nothing else can. It also brings a class of students together.

Catherine Van Order, Ph.D. Instructional Lead
Crestline Elem., Birmingham, AL

Our staff was privileged to have John Cooper conduct a staff development program for us. The program he presented was the "Laughing Teacher". Our staff was delighted with the list of ideas they gleaned from this program. They were particularly pleased that the ideas involved little to no cost. We have been looking for unique new ways to incorporate fun and humor in the classroom. This program gave us exactly that.

One great benefit has been that not only are our students having more fun and getting excited about learning, our teachers are doing the same. They are using the ideas to relieve their tension and stress as well as that of their students.

If your staff could use a little boost in morale, ideas that really work with students, or an hour and a half of good fun, then call Mr. Cooper today.
