Welcome to Hello and welcome to Cooper & Company's educational website. My husband John and I are known as "School Enhancement Specialists." We travel the southeastern United States presenting over 250 school presentations yearly. Our unique programs have been enjoyed by millions of teachers and parents. These presentations are regarded by hundreds of educators as the finest school presentations they have ever hosted. Don't take our word on it.... Here are actual educators comments about the presentations. If you need more letters of reference, just call Thanks, John for the in-service you provided at Gateway today! It was just what our faculty needed for the first day back! I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I always like to hear what teachers have to say. Their responses were very positive! I even had an email from a teacher thanking me for having you! Tonight, I got a phone call from a teacher at another school who had already heard about the fun we had! :-) Now that makes me feel great, and it should make you feel great, too! Have a great school year! Sheila G.

Our staff and students really enjoyed your "Bully-Free The Way To Be!" program at Griggs Elementary School. It was such an informative and upbeat program. The students were sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for the next point to be discussed. It was so much fun while learning about how not to be a bully. I can honestly say in my 28 years of working at Griggs it was the best program that we have had. The staff development after school was a big help to the teachers. The only thing I can say is AWESOME! We hope to have you back again. Darlene

On behalf of Shoal Creek Elementary school, I am pleased to enthusiastically tout the praises of John Cooper's "The Laughing Teacher" presentation. He delivers this concise and very pertinent message with humor, candor and FUN! His knowledge of the teaching profession is clear as he targets the tough points of a typical teaching day. He understands the rigor and pace of a teacher's routine. He, consequently, very accurately tunes in to the needs of teachers and administrators. With a quick wit, a jovial spirit and contagiously positive attitude, he demonstrates scores of hands-on strategies for classroom management and student motivation. Humor is the main ingredient in his delivery. He physically and mentally--without intimidation--involves his audience. When our faculty wasn't laughing, we were moving, dancing, singing or repeating mantras. We all left our meeting with dozens of concrete ideas that we could employ immediately in our classrooms. The next day students and faculty were reporting successes they had with these new--but simple--tricks to address specific behaviors. I have already, and will in the future, heartily recommend that other schools and school systems involve Mr. Cooper in their staff development curriculums. His data and approach are heartening and enlightening. He just makes so much "doggone" sense! And we had fun while we were learning--a great model for teaching our students with lightness, love and humor! Melissa

Thank you so much for spending the day with your new extended family. The school is buzzing with the excitement you brought to us and several teachers have already started to plan how they will incorporate some of your tricks in their lessons. Without question your presentation was filled with laughter and tricks that will benefit our school for years to come. Your presentation will be highly recommended to fellow administrators. Thank you again for sharing your excitement and laughter for education. We are all brighter educators when we enjoy what we do. David

If you are an administrator looking for a great way to jump start the school year or need to give your teachers a boost at any time during the year, you could do no better than to bring in John Cooper to present "The Laughing Teacher." Mr. Cooper offers a fun-filled two hours of pure inspiration and energy. He will get your staff loosened up with laughter and then keep them engaged throughout the entire presentation. Mr. Cooper also provides teachers with ideas, tricks, and other techniques to use in the classroom to inspire kids to learn. They will also go away with a long list of resources to help them do their jobs better with more enthusiasm than ever. As we all know, one of the greatest challenges we face as administrators is to provide our teachers with meaningful and useful staff development opportunities without boring them to death or having them feel like their valuable time has been wasted. I guarantee that this won't be the case if you take my advice and invite John Cooper to bring one of his programs to your school. Call him today and set up a time for him to present to your staff. You won't regret it! William J. Shadwick,
Principal
Thank you so much for bringing your enlightened staff development to my faculty last week. In bring you in at the beginning of the school year, I was hoping to start the year off with a "bang" - and you sure did! My faculty has not laughed and smiled so much in quite some time. But not only did you bring laughter and enthusiasm, you brought ideas that could be used immediately in the classroom to help reach all students. I saw teacher who were normally more reserved taking notes and purchasing items that were sure to bring more smiles to their classrooms this year. I would highly recommend your services to other schools that might need a fun and entertaining way to inject humor into staff development. I wish you continued success. Rick West -
Principal
"The Bully-Free Zone!" and "Get A Grip On Bullying" came to
our K-5 school yesterday. John Cooper brought life and meaning to the word 'bullying' in
his presentations! Students eagerly responded to his magic tricks, lively
music and humorous personality as he actively involved them in identifying
what bullying is and how to deal with it. To Whom It May Concern, The students, faculty and parents were recently treated to a unique and timely workshop on how to have a "Bully-Free Zone" at Hendrix Elementary School. Mr. John Cooper, School Enhancement Specialist has developed an entertaining presentation that includes magic, student participation, songs, puppetry and hands on experience that captivates children and adults alike. Our day with Mr. Cooper began with an assembly for our K-2nd grade students from 9-9:45 am. Then Mr. Cooper returned to our school at 1 pm to hold a program for our 3rd-5th grades. My point being that Mr. Cooper was more than willing to accommodate our schedules and work with us to insure that all our students were able to hear his message. Mr. Cooper then provided an hour long after school staff development in which he gave wonderful suggestions for maintaining a bully-free classroom along with lessons and a website for follow-up reinforcements. I heartily recommend Mr. Cooper as a resource for your school. This is the second year we have enjoyed having Mr. Cooper at our school and he always has fresh ideas to share and energize our students and faculty. Last year he shared his program, "The Laughing Teacher" in a staff development setting and his ideas were stimulating, easily implemented and cost efficient. Each time Mr. Cooper visits, it is a breath of fresh air and his presentations leave you laughing, entertained, and excited about being a educator. Dawn Neely -

The faculty at Sugar Loaf enjoyed Mr Cooper's Laughing Teacher program during an early release day for staff development. The staff members liked this workshop because it allowed them to move around and participate in productive activities instead of sitting and listening a presenter talk for two hours. It was helpful for teachers to learn how to incorporate humor into the daily school routine and make the classroom a positive learning experience for students and the teacher. It was also beneficial to learn tips for relieving stress in our job so that we can focus on the joy of teaching children. If you need a energetic and dynamic speaker to come present an informative yet fun-filled program for your staff members, I recommend that you ask John Cooper to come to your school. Mr.

I want to thank you for
sharing your wonderful ideas about how to liven up our classrooms with fun and laughter. In this day and age of high-stakes
testing, we need to be reminded from time to time that our job is fun and exciting. We know what brain and learning styles research says about
using humor and physical movement to engage our students in learning. Thanks for giving us some new and easy ideas to take right back into the
classroom! Donna Rhoton -
Principal
Your powerful message, "Bully-Free....The Way To Be!", using the FANTASTIC Approach to stop bullying was very well received by our faculty and students. All age levels were able to relate to the materials and the magical presentation. Students now have the tools to counter bullying tactics. They know the difference between tattling and telling and I believe the long-reaching effects will be realized in years to come. The resource packets that the teachers received in the "Get A Grip On Bullying" faculty presentation and the access to your resourceful Web guides are being used with enthusiasm. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. It was truly a creative instructional program that students and teachers greatly enjoyed and appreciated. ~

The parent workshop was a wonderful way to begin the day. Parents were very thankful of the tips and ideas that you gave them in dealing with their children on a daily basis. They also enjoyed relaxing and laughing. Many of them have thanked me for scheduling the workshop and said that it was very informative. Mr.

Your
unique approaches to working with students and staff always remind us
not to take ourselves so seriously and to let the kid within us come out
to play.
I have been using the
website you created and it is just fantastic.
I can tell you put a lot of hours into finding all those
wonderful teaching tools.
Thanks for the wonderful books and handouts you shared. ~

I have received feedback from many appreciative teachers that really benefited from the ideas presented in "The Laughing Teacher." Your mix of humor and practical ideas to lighten up the classroom has been contagious. I am happy to see my teachers implement more fun into their daily routines. Thank you again for sharing your fun and love of life! We appreciated having you here and would recommend you to others! ~ J.
Marie Casiday - Principal Your workshop, "The Laughing Teacher," which was presented at our weekly faculty meeting was a tremendous way to end the day. Too often, in the world of education, we get bogged down with all the day-to-day drudgery....testing, curriculum standards, testing, lesson plans, testing, and more testing. We forget the joys each day brings with the unique individuals who call themselves our students. Your workshop gave us a wake up call and my entire staff greatly appreciated your humor and sincerity. I will gladly recommend your program to other schools. What a great and easy way to uplift faculty! ~ Mrs. Joy M.
